I was utterly fascinated by Natasha. She is every man’s dream with a big dose of a nightmare thrown in – aren’t the sexiest women always like that? I also really related to Nathan. He is macho enough to be the hero, but I can relate to his bouts of self-doubt and occasional foibles. Mr. Derby certainly brings the reader right into the Hungarian culture with his authentic and witty descriptions of people, places, foods, and mannerisms. This is a strong point in the story’s favor. This is a great story to “get lost” in. I forgot about everything else reading this story and became the character, Nathan. I judge a story this way and this one earned an A+. I hope he writes another one soon.
